Need to Know

This trail was built in 2021-2022. It is most easily accessed from the bottom, at the end of Foster Crk Rd where there is a large parking area. You may need a high clearance vehicle to reach the parking area depending on conditions.

Description

Lower Foster creek trail is a singletrack alternative to the 4wd road which it parallels. The trail is not continuous, and is broken up into 4 sections separated by the road. There are trail signs at each end of the four segments. The trail is ride-able in both directions, however some may choose to just use the road on the ascent, simply because it is faster. Bikers are most commonly going downhill through here, after coming down Foster Creek Trail, or Lost Creek Trail. It is a fun and flowy descent with some mild intermediate rock obstacles. At the very bottom of the trail, the last segment is short, but includes a bridge across Foster Creek which will keep your feet dry!

Travelling along the Lower Foster Creek Trail involves alternating between sections of singletrack, and sections of 4wd road. Here is what a typical trail junction looks like. It is an option to just stay on the road which may be faster for ascending.
