Some parking at the start on Buffalo Drive, and connects to the rest of the Wildernest trail system accessible from the bigger lot at the Lower Salt Lick Trail

Description

Start at the dirt parking lot at the south end of Buffalo Drive. Start due south on wide singletrack, and ascend some easy steps, rocks, and roots. The second half mellows out to slightly uphill, easy wide singletrack. Eventually you'll reach a junction with a bridge on the right over Ryan Creek. Take the bridge to continue uphill on Upper Salt Lick, or continue downhill on Lower Salt Lick Trail or a second bridge to access Sluice Box Trail.
