Overview

Test Tracks, officially known as Overend Mountain Park, is one of the most popular trail systems in Durango, thanks to its easy access and fast, flowy trails. This recommended loop combines the most famous trails with a few of the longer, more pedally trails for a slightly longer ride in this popular trail system.

Description

The route shown here begins from the Leyden Street trailhead by traversing along the base of the hillside and then climbing Hidden Valley. At the top of Hidden Valley, pedal over to the top of Star Wars and drop into the iconic fast, flowy bobsled run. (Or, for a bit more mileage, ride some of the Grabens trails up top.)

After Star Wars, pedal up 8 Bells, and at the top, take a right onto Hogsfoot instead of the typical left toward the jumps. Hogsfoot is a great trail that traverses along the bottom of Hogsback with some fun, rocky challenges.

This connects to Spirit Trail , which is a twisty, pedally jaunt through the far reaches of the trail system. Spirit eventually winds back around to Ella Vita , allowing you to climb back up to the ridge and then descend the iconic Brown's Ridge: Jump Line for a fast, fun down-and-out.
