Need to Know

No parking at the trailhead, you need to access this trail from either Old Dillon Reservoir or the Dillon Dam Recreation Path.

Description

Access road for communication infrastructure at the top of Lake Hill. Very steep and loose in spots, but nothing technical. Great views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding area from the top.

Can be used to access Orahood Trail/CR46 and other trails in the Old Dillon Reservoir area. Accessible from the Dillon Dam Recreation Path by crossing the road at the southwest end of the Dam, but use caution as there is not an official crosswalk here.
