A loop style route with a good overlook on Small Intestine. You get to ride some of the Chunky #1 area and Lower Chunky on the way to Small Intestine. Then you get to go down Megawatt! It ends back at the East Rim Overlook Parking Lot.

Park at the "Raccoon Mountain Chattanooga Overlook" lot. The direction of travel is counter clockwise. Begin on East Rim trail. Then ride Chunky #1. After exploring the Chunky Area, you'll ride up the gravel road for just a little bit and then connect over to Lower Chunky, which will be on your left. Then connect to Small Intestine and follow that around - there's a nice overlook area on this trail as well. Then you'll climb up Grindstone Ridge Trail. Then go down Megawatt. Then ride River Gorge trail. Then take Electric Avenue 2. And finally take Electric Avenue 1 back to the parking lot.

This is 100% singletrack with an overlook on Small Intestine and chunky descent on Megawatt. A great loop with variety in the climbs and descents.

Electric Avenue 2 has signs that tell you about the history of the area and TVA.
