Description

The Perimeter trail at Beverly Commons (sometimes called the Blue Trail and sometimes called the Red Dot Trail) is the main loop around the Commons. I broke the loop up into two sections because the characteristics of the two sides are a bit different. The fist half (if going clockwise), on the west side of the Commons is technical, but the other half, on the east side is REALLY technical. Look for alternative lines up and over rocks, gaps, and more. The two halves of the trail are split by Wood Lane, so moderately skilled riders could just do the first half, or take on the whole loop. When you get to the top upper northeast corner, Trail Marker #65, you could bear left instead of continuing on with the loop and this will take you to more trails, and will connect to Gordon College and trails along rt 128.

While not the highest point in Beverly, you get some great views along the trail.
