Overview

Lee Lateral to Grange Hall Creek Trail to South Platte River Greenway returning on the Thornton Bike lane from Carpenter Park through East Lake #3 Park.

Description

An almost completely flat, almost all paved loop in Thornton. If you don't want to ride any gravel you can easily detour onto sidewalks near the route. The large majority of this trail is on wide (8 feet) fairly smooth concrete multi use trails. The trail takes you through about half suburban neighborhood trails and then a big stretch on the Platte which has wildlife and a view of the river. A good trail for riding on warmer winter days as it usually doesn't have snow and ice.
