This is the third of three segments of the one way Boy Scout climb. The full Boy Scout trail is 2.8 miles ling with 838' of climbing from the Batt Parking Lot to the top of the mountain. This is a great climb with ample recovery zones and allows laps on the upper trails down to the Star Hub. This is a beautiful built trail, built by Greenstone Trailcraft as part of the EDA project, that has tight switch backs and some steep pitches. Mixed in with this are some nice flat-ish recovery zones. This takes you to the top of the mountain and the beginning of several descents, including Upper Giddy-Up. This is a bicycle optimized climbing trail that is also shared by bi-directional hikers and trail runners.
