Overview
Fun, moderate singletrack, and a great intro to South Tahoe riding.
Need to Know
There are easy shuttle options, and often plenty of folks parked to set up a quick one.
Description
From South Lake Tahoe, take Pioneer Trail towards Meyers and turn left onto Oneidas Drive. Take Oneidas as it narrows, and if the gates are closed, park and ride up the road. Otherwise, you can park at a well-established parking lot, or work the shuttle up to the bottom of the
Armstrong Connector #18E09A /top of the
Corral Trail #18E14.
Assuming you parked at the bottom, ride up the narrow, nicely paved road for 2-3 miles. At the top of the
Corral Trail #18E14, continue up the paved road (while you can ride up the
Armstrong Connector #18E09A, a nice singletrack climb, it would be best to keep it directional and respect downhill traffic). Then descend the connector, pick up the
Corral Trail #18E14, air it out on some of the kickers, enjoy the banked turns, and cruise back to Powerline dirt road. Take a left, and you'll get back to the parking lot in short order. Super fun!
