This trail goes from the Old Road trail up to the pipeline, just up the hill from Mirkwood. Despite its location higher on the ridge, it is often wet and muddy.

The trail starts on the Old Road Trail on a steep uphill. It levels off soon enough for a pleasant winding section through the trees.

It straightens out a bit as it heads north but soon hits some wet spots that take some of the fun out of this trail. Conditions deteriorate as you get closer to the pipeline.

The trail ends with a short descent to where Mirkwood meets the pipeline.

This trail is best ridden when conditions are very dry.
