Description

The west side singletrack starts on the paved bikeway from the parking area. Look for a small wooden sign low toward the ground on the left side of the path, opposite from the trail kiosk.

The loop is mellow and twisty at first with a few little dips and lots of bends around big trees. The trail breaks out of the thicker vegetation and parallels Valle Circle on the right side. Follow the circle around and then turn right to continue on the trail, heading north towards E. 1st Street. Make a hard right turn and then follow the singletrack along the Trinity River.

As the route heads back toward Valle Circle it will intersect with a shortcut from the right. Stay straight. There will be a few overlooks to the river, be careful of the edge. The trail gets super fun from here with whoops and swoops. There are more big trees and fun banked turns. This section ends when the trail crosses the Trinity River Trail.

The last segment of the route has a couple of quick ups and downs with some twisty bits before hitting the paved bikeway near the kiosk where you started.
