The segment of Bear Creek Trail that makes up the Bear Creek - Dakota Ridge loop is part of a long distance bikeway that connects Denver to Morrison. It provides a link from the Mt Carbon Loop trail into Morrison for the Bear Creek - Mt Carbon Loop ride.
