Description

This is a close competitor for the singletrack with the best scenery in the bay area. This trail has it all, ocean views, close contact with huge redwoods, fern canyons and creeks.

One the the best flowing singletrack trails, Whittemore Gulch Trail gives you that "I'm like a Jedi, flying between the redwoods" feel. It is not very technical, fantastically flowy.

Beautiful views on a nice day. I'm not super experienced and was able to make it down with a hardtail, a few tight turns to be careful around.

A couple small wet spots toward the bottom but otherwise pretty dry conditions. Probably going to close soon for the season with rain on the way.
