Description
This is a small trail that meanders through oak and magnolia trees. It parallels Blair Stone Rd and it can be a fun shortcut on the way to
Fern Trail or Tom Brown Park (
Magnolia Trail).
This is one of the most fun sections of trail in Tallahassee, but the fun ends quickly because it is rather short. Starting from the Kohl's parking lot on Apalachee Parkway and Blairstone Rd, the trail heads downhill for about 1/8 of a mile. There are two jumps located on the trail that can be ridden as an option (the second jump is a gap jump). Shortly thereafter, there is an access road that you'll cross and continue on the trail.
After some twists and turns, still heading down, you'll ride over a janky bridge that spans a small creek. The trail passes a small pond on the right then you climb out to Park Avenue. Cross Park avenue and ride through the Publix parking lot.
If you are looking to extend your ride, hop on the sidewalk along Blairstone Rd just before you cross the bridge on the right and you'll see a trail that leads you to the
Fern Trail. Cross the small wooden bridge and after a short climb you turn right and stay on the singletrack all the way to Tom Brown Park.
