Family Friendly There are three parks, a splash park, and a nature center.

Description

Often referred to as "The Riverwalk," this path is managed by the City of Farmington and part of the National Scenic Trails System. A nice place to take the kids with lots of parks and plenty of wildlife to view.

Berg Park and Riverwalk Nature Trail is made up of a small network of trails. Two main trails link both sides of the Animas River with two large steel bridges. There are three parks, a splash park, lots of picnic areas, and a nature center for the kids. This is not a fast area, just a mellow family-friendly system in the trees.
