Description

At 34 miles in length, the Chief Ladiga Trail covers a lot of territory, stretching from the Georgia border (it picks up where the Silver Comet Trail leaves off) through Tallegeda National Forest and ending just north of Anniston.

The trail is paved and great for dog walking, hiking, running, biking, and rollerblading. Along the way you'll pass through the towns of Piedmont, Jacksonville, Weaver and Anniston. The path was built to follow an old, abandoned railway line, and the ups and downs you'll encounter are mostly mellow.

The trail has several access points to choose from so you can custom the length of your ride. Find out more about the path, here.
